Our NFE-4 Aircraft Tug – What a Gem!
Ease-of-operations is the name of the game regarding our NFE-4 aircraft tug design! This quiet, compact model comes with two batteries and an on-board Smart Battery charger, and the engine is a 24-volt electric motor. The NFE-4 tug is perfectly suited for Cirrus Aircraft and moves most nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 lbs.
The simplicity of the lifting of the nose-wheel allows for single-user ease. Simply attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform to allow for the tug’s effortless performance – what could be easier? Because the NFE-4 aircraft tug is so smooth and precise with its 360-degree maneuvering, be prepared to, now, park aircraft into smaller spaces whether in a hangar or on the airport apron.
The control of the NFE-4 is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential, and the ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the craft, upon release of the thumb throttle.
