Our NFE-4 aircraft tug deserves its own 60 seconds of fame due to its amenities. It is compact, powerful, and quiet and makes moving aircraft a virtually-effortless endeavor. The NFE-4 tug comes with two batteries and an on-board Smart Battery charger. The engine is a 24-volt electric motor which, ideally, conforms to Cirrus Aircraft. It will move most nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 lbs.
The NFE-4 tug is designed for single-user operation where ease-of-use lies in the simplicity of the lifting of the nose-wheel. Just attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform, and allow the tug to do the rest– aircraft maneuvering has never been easier!
The control of the NFE-4 tug is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential. The ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the
craft upon release of the thumb throttle.
