Let’s face it, an aircraft tug can boast of being one handy piece of ground-support machinery! At Airtug, our NFE-4 model is compact and incredibly easy to operate. It is perfectly designed for Cirrus Aircraft as well as most nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 pounds. The engine of the NFE-4 utilizes a quiet 24-volt electric motor, and the tug comes with two batteries and an on-board Smart Battery charger.

The NFE-4 aircraft tug offers simplistic, single-user operation thanks to the ease of the lifting of the nose-wheel. Just attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform – the NFE-4 is ready to, seamlessly, guide your aircraft wherever you want it to go!

This tug’s control is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential. The ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the craft upon release of the thumb throttle.
