The EL8 is the perfect electric tug solution to move nearly any plane under 8,000 lbs. The plane’s wheel is hoisted onto a sturdy, elevated platform, allowing for wide turns without dragging the wheel across the ground and easy navigation over various terrains.
The -S model has a fixed, stationary platform that sits low enough to the ground for easy loading.
The -H model has a hydraulic lift platform that allows you to raise the nose up to 6 inches, lowering the tail about double that amount.
With our intuitive thumb throttle, you can smoothly and effortlessly control the tug at a variable speed that suits your comfort. The two 12v batteries powered by an onboard Smart Charger and electric transaxle work in tandem to do all the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to break a sweat. The 16.5” drive tires powered by a differential and a free-wheeling caster under the handle make tough turns an afterthought.
The EL8 is ideal for most private and commercial planes without wheel fairings under 8,000 lbs.
