Integrity Means Trust
The trust our customers place in Airtug’s hard-earned reputation means everything to our company. As a leading manufacturer and supplier of aircraft tugs, we passionately adhere to four main principles that have driven our mission and philosophy for almost 45 years: 1) caliber of integrity 2) quality of product 3) efficiency of service and 4) commitment to customer care.
Since 1974, Airtug’s success has been built upon previous success; and that has translated into expansion. With continued expansion, however, we never assume we are too big to fail – we strive to modestly balance our values, profit margin, and long-term goals in order to operate as a highly-responsible corporate citizen. Remaining a good neighbor with the communities we serve is crucial, as well. Our local, national, and global customer base is what drives Airtug as a recognized world leader in aircraft tug manufacturing.
Airtug’s team-members strive to keep each and every customer as a life-long partner! This is accomplished by providing the absolute best product at a fair and competitive price. We treat every customer with the personalized attention they expect and deserve.
Quality and Selection Means Satisfaction
Our Michigan customers can, also, expect: 1) unmatched ‘quality control’ 2) industry-leading parts and warranties and 3) 30-day money-back guarantees. It’s our quality, guarantees and warranties that create the level of confidence we, consistently, nurture.
Airtug offers an array of walk-behind, high-performance tugs that cater to FBO’s and commercial and private planes weighing up to 16,000 pounds. In addition to our aircraft tugs, we carry a line of compatible accessories and equipment to provide maximized ground-support.
Our NFE-4 Aircraft Tug
The quiet NFE-4 is a smaller, but powerful aircraft tug that is incredibly easy to operate. It comes with two batteries, an on-board Smart Battery charger and a 24-volt electric motor. The NFE-4 tug ideally configures to CIRRUS Aircraft, and will move most nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 lbs.
With the NFE-4 tug, single-person movement of aircraft is effortless due to the ease of the lifting of the nose-wheel. Manually attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform, and allow the tug to take over – its’ that easy!
The control of the NFE-4 tug is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential; and the ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the craft upon release of the thumb throttle.

Ensuring Aircraft Compatibility
In the aircraft industry, there is a universal truth: Not all tugs are compatible with all models of aircraft. Because of that, we strongly encourage you to give Airtug a call before you purchase our NFE-4 tug or any other design. We will go over a few details to make sure the tug you choose is seamlessly suited for your particular craft. You want your new tug to be used as soon as it’s needed; and we do too.
Customer Satisfaction and Giving Back
Our NFE-4 aircraft tug can’t be beat for ease and convenience when moving aircraft; but if, for any reason, you wish to return it, Airtug will provide you with a refund! Airtug maintains its status as a leading, global manufacturer of tugs that accommodate single, multi and turbine-class aircraft because we cater to our customers – we give them what they want!
We, also, want our Michigan customers to feel good about where some of their purchasing money goes – a portion of every single Airtug sale is donated to Veterans Airlift Command to help support its patriotic cause: to fly wounded veterans and their families to necessary appointments as well as special events.
