Airtug’s Integrity
Forty-four years have passed since 1974; and it was then that Airtug began its quest to manufacture and supply aircraft tugs to local, national, and global venues. We have expanded, much, during the course of the past 4+ decades, but one component has remained the same, throughout: our unwavering integrity.
We, at Airtug, believe our customers are our most important asset since, after all, they are the ones who get credit for all our success. That success is a direct reflection of our core values: 1) consistently offering unquestioned transparency 2) providing high-quality products 3) ensuring the efficiency of service and 4) committing to unsurpassed customer care.
As Airtug continues to evolve and expand, we take serious thought with balancing our values, profit margin, and long-term goals in order to maintain our position as a highly- trusted corporate citizen. Being a good neighbor with the communities we serve is equally crucial – our customer-base is local, national, and global – and we will go to whatever lengths to continue to serve it well.
Part of our goal is to keep each customer for life; and that is achieved by providing high-quality products at fair and competitive prices. Every customer receives the personalized attention he or she deserves and expects.
Offering our Customers What They Want
Our North Carolina customers can expect a few more niceties, as well: 1) unrivaled ‘quality control’ 2) industry-leading parts and warranties and 3) 30-day money-back guarantees. Giving our customers what they want – product quality, product guarantees and product warranties – translates into consumer trust and confidence in our brand; and that means everything to our company.
Airtug offers walk-behind, high-performance tugs that cater to FBO’s and commercial and private planes weighing up to 16,000 pounds. We, also, carry a complete line of compatible accessories and equipment designed to enhance the ease, safety and efficiency of aircraft movement on the ground.
Our NFE-4 Aircraft Tug
The NFE-4 model tug is quiet, easy-to-operate, and comes with two batteries plus an on-board Smart Battery charger. The engine is a 24-volt electric motor which perfectly accommodates CIRRUS Aircraft. The NFE-4 will move the majority of nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 lbs.
You will maneuver your aircraft seamlessly with the NFE-4 which allows for easy lifting of the nose-wheel. Just manually attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform – let the NFE-4 tug take over!
The control of the NFE-4 tug is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential; and the ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the craft upon release of the thumb throttle.

Customer Satisfaction and Giving Back
Our NFE-4 aircraft does, indeed, make one’s life easier when it comes to moving aircraft from Point A to Point B; and our customers love the product, If, however, you order that tug or any other tug design and choose not to keep it, we will issue you a refund! This is one of the reasons Airtug maintains its position as a leading, global manufacturer of tugs that accommodate single, multi and turbine-class aircraft – customers are our business; and we never forget that.
As an important side note: some of your purchasing money goes to a very patriotic cause – a portion of every single sale at Airtug is donated to Veterans Airlift Command. This revered organization flies wounded veterans and their families to necessary appointments as well as special events.
